identify my outdrive

[grandpaclint]

i have a 1973 sea camper with an 888 mercruiser
the motor # 3603176 on the outdrive all i can read is
888 xxx8930
the gimbal mount looks nothing like the one in the repair
video from i-boats on myspace.
i just want to know what i have and if i can still get parts for it.
any help will be appreciated

Your motor is a Ford?
I think you have a pre-alpha drive set up for a Ford (someone will correct me if Im wrong). What parts you looking for? You could try the iboats store.

Ayuh,.... You've got a 302 Ford,+ a Mod.1 outdrive....

You have the 888 drive, it's a pre-alpha. There are plenty of parts for them, aside from a few that have been updated/discontinued.
