hi asthesun. The top one is called a "lady Fish" and aren't good for much more than bait and a fun fight. The lower fish in an African Pompano, one of the best tasting and funnest fish to catch. Both are primarily caught from the beach using live bait and/or jigs. I see you're down in G-ville, awesome. Go NOLES!!!! (with love from Tallahassee)

Not trying to start an argument but that is not an African Pompano. Pompano look similar but the dorsal is much longer and no yellow. Agreed great fun to catch. I am a huge NOLES fan myself. They look pretty good this year. He's no Charlie Ward (yet).

Lady fish are great Snook Baits too,
Hooked the biggest snook I ever had on a live lady fish Bout 12" long,
Never got her in but she was a beast I tell ya!!! Now if I get lady fish, Always throw them
on a hook live...

Maybe he thought like so many others do and just took it for granted that the red banner at the bottom of the page was for decoration? I know the red banner has a typed message in it, but who has time to read warnings and directions these days???
