identifying my johnson 18hp outboard

I need help indentifying the age of my motor. The model #fd-15f, the serial #2215495. Any help would be appreciated.

That is a 1961, stman. Very good engine.

Use a 24:1 fuel mix, Champion J4C plugs gapped at .030" and set the points at .020".
