Idle adjust 2007 2 bbl holley 305 engine

Can I just reset the idle screw or do I need to adjust the throttle cable also? I'm about 300 rpm too low.

depends, should simply be able to adjust the idle stop. however if you have a lot of throttle cable slack, you may need to attend to that.

Ayuh,...... Start with the idle screw,..... the cable length may, or may not be Ok,.....

At idle, the cable should be puttin' a slight tension against the idle screw,.....
