Rebuilt the carbs on a 1995 150 evinrude e150exeom, because bulb would not firm up. I used oem kit. The carbs are plastic I could not soak them but they were sprayed and blown out. The question I have is the manuel states to set the idle screw at 3 turns. Having rebuilt carbs before I counted the turns in and the first one was set at 4 and a half turns. The idle screw is on the throdle body, which is metal. Not to screw up a good thing I reset that idle screw at 4.5 and only sprayed and blow out the other 5. The carbs have never been rebuilt before because the green paint is still on the idle screws. I have not tried to start it yet because the warning horn is not working on start up. compression and spark is good The moter ran great before the carb rebuild just leaked fuel from 1 or 2 carbs.
also do I need to do a link sys seeing that I didn't fool with any linkage and it ran great.
