If we started an iboats Band...what would you play?

Any musicians in this mix? What do you play? What instruments do you currently have? Are, or ever been, in a band?

I played trumpet ( a Stradivarius) professionally for a couple years, mostly weddings. Then switched over to bass guitar. played in several bands in Memphis, TN, nearly had a sweet deal with Margueritaville Records once (but we blew it), moved here, was in another band for few years, and play just for fun now. Currently have a Fender American Deluxe Jazz Bass, Ovation Acoustic/Electric Bass, and an EL upright (my "ground fiddle")

KIZ is obviously a drummer, but what about the rest of you?

I play the elctric bass, alto sax and bagpipes; none of them very well

I play acoustic guitar,electric bass, hamonica,and a little bit of mandolin. Bluegrasss only. Maybe some old time 50's country once a while

Bass and guitar. Unless you are looking for a spike in earplug sales, keep me away from the drums, they are like a magnet and it ain't pretty!!!

I am a decent tech but no musician, my sisters all got that gene.

Pyrotechnics!!!!!

I can give you real cannon fire for the 1812 Overture (not only will you need real earplugs but it will be loud enough to feel in your belly) or I can light up the sky while everyone plays.

Played drums (Tama/Ludwig) in high school and college but had to give them up when I got married and moved into town.:'(

Maybe I'll get another set when I move into a retirement home... noybody there can hear anyway.8)
