Ignition/Battery wiring pictures

My brain and diagrams don't mingle. I purchased a 1982 25 HP Johnson, that the previous owner took out the ignition wiring, and the wiring for the battery. I've looked at wiring diagrams til I'm blue in the face, and still can't visualize how they are wired. If anyone could take off their cowl, take a picture of the battery wiring, and the ignition (I want to use a key ignition) wiring, and e-mail them to me, I would be forever grateful! No remote, just a tiller, with ignition on motor.

Hopefully someone will send you a pic of exactly what you need....but until then if you want to search thru these something may help you....

Thanks for all the diagrams...still looking for a picture though. I guess it doesn't have to be my exact motor, just one that wires the same.

This should be close. Kill switch is on top.

It seems his problem is like many others and a wiring diagram is foreign language. as some old prophet once said a picture is worth a thousand words.he needs a pic.

A closeup pic of your motor and the wires would be much better than the pic you show,I'd bet someone could tell you where the wires in your pic would attach.
