I have 130 johnson 2000. it loses spark after about 20 minutes under load. It comes back after about 4 hour cooldown. Stator charge side was bad so replaced stator. Now charging and rectifier tests good. Tested stop circuit and got no voltage from switch side (black/yellow) until engine ran on hose for about 1/2 hour, started registering .2 volts intermittently with engine running. Power pack side of black/yellow was 200 to 300 volts, all over the place with engine running. Any thoughts, key switch or power pack?

Re: ignition loses spark

Disconnect the blk/yellow ign kill wire at the PP, when you lose spark and see if the spark returns. if so, troubleshoot ign keyswitch and wiring in between.

when you say "...no voltage from switch side (black/yellow) until engine ran on hose for about 1/2 hour, started registering .2 volts intermittently..." where in the circuit are you measuring? I mean, from the keyswitch M terminal to engine block ground?

And "...power pack side..." -- same question.
