Ignition question

I am repowering a 1987 4.3l with thunderbolt ignition, to a 97 5.7l with thunderbolt, does anyone know how i could go about wiring the ignition on the 5.7, using the 4.3 wiring harness?

not sure what your asking but if using standard coils, purple and grey from the harness to the + and - coil and the purple and grey from the module to the coil + and -

I will post pics tomorrow, of the 2 different modules, just wondering about the other wires going to the module.

Don't see an issue with the harness if everything reaches, but if your talking about using a 4.3 module on a 5.7 then there is an issue
