The old switch I removed was different from the one I just bought.
New switch connections: Green wire (C), Red (B), Blue and White (M), Yellow (S), Purple (doesn't connect), I installed a Voltage gauge and have a wire going to the voltage gauge from (A) (same as "I" I suppose) - the other side of the gauge goes to ground.
I removed all the wires from the old switch but remembered the purple wire being attached to I think the (A) or (I) terminal (both mean the same I think) but I didn't connect the purple wire (tach) on the new switch because the manual showed the purple wire not connected. Does this sound correct? Can anyone help?
