ignition switch

The ignition switch on my '94 stardeck aurora 2000 (that I recently bought) never seems to stay tight. After almost every start, I have to tighten the plastic "screw" base to make sure it's tight.

Any suggestions on either how to tighten it, or a good replacement for it?

Its probably bottoming out. Take it clear off then look on the switch and you should see a nut. Screw it out a turn or so then replace the plastic piece.

if that don't fix it, try a drop of blue loctite on the threads.
