I have a 2003 Sea Pro 19' with a 115 Yamaha 4 stroke. Model F115TLRC. Just recently it takes 5 or 8 times to start when i turn the key and sometimes it will not shut off. Have to pull the kill switch to turn off. I inspected the ignition wires underneath and its clean. This just started last weekend. Should I replace the ignition or spray electrical cleaner in key hole?

Terry, the key hole shouldn't be the problem. Take a meter and verify power with ignition key on and then off at the back of the switch. Then go back to the distributor and do the same test. Switch working properly? If she's staying on, you have power somehow getting to the ignition system at the motor, even with the key off. In my case, there is a relay that sticks on sometimes. Since your kill switch works, there could be a bad wire somewhere. Hope that helps! I'm not an outboard guy so I only know basic electrical wiring, which is pretty typical most of the time....
