Ignition wire routing

Hi,
Just installed a new powerpack on my Sea-Horse. The old powerpack had it's wires sheathed all the way up to where they insert, but the new one doesn't. Will these wires be ok being in contact with the block ?.

They should be ok. You could take the sheath off the old one and use it on the new on.

id think it would be ok but id get some heat sheilding to put over the wires to be on the safe side
