Ignition wiring and fuse panel for 115HP Evinrude

help please

Last fall my father bought a 1996 wellcraft (19') with what we think 115HP evinrude (same year). It ran great at the dealer. When we return to use it for the first time after winter--He lost the keys-- He then disasemble the ignition switch to make a new key.

Without wiring diagram for the ignition key, I am unable to help him get the boat runing again.

I try to find a hot wire but also unable to find any that is hot with the wires that I have to connect to the ignition switch. (the batery is fully charge and there is power to the instrument panel)

1. Does any one know where the fuse panel for this boat is ?? I look everywhere but can not locate it. (There is no clear "kill" switch for the ignition and there is no "kill" insert that I could attach to the ignition switch other than the key.)

2. Does also any one know the wiring diagram for this ?? engine ???

there is quite a few difference evinrude 115 HP to choose from. Where can I look on the engine to find the model and year ??

Where are the fuse panel typically located on these boat ??

The fuses for the motor and control are on the engine. The accessory wiring for the boat is usually a separate wiring system from the battery to the helm, with its own fusing system.

I was wondering whether you had a wiring schematic for a 1983 Johnson 115?
