waiting on the manual but tinkering in the interim. older crestliner with 6 screw ignition, electric choke. all the wires were cut so i'm rewiring the whole boat. i've got start-gen-heat- tach-choke-battery-igniton-ground on the engine block. the back of the key is s-i-b-c-m-m.
i've rewired the obvious "s" to start ,etc. everything works without the ground and the engine fires right up. wire the ground and tack to the "m's"? why doesn't the ground have it's own slot?? thnx all wiring wizards.......the "heat" is wired to a warning buzzer and grounded with the ground wire.
