Ilerrad suggested it might be the fuel pump. Said that a bad spring could leave a bit of play that might create a slapping noise.<br />I just pulled it and there is a slight looseness on the pump lever.<br />Also... the parts guy says the diaphragm is probably shot, cause it is leaking.<br />fIlerrad......Did you say "even the slightest looseness could cause a loud noise?? Like a bad pushrod????<br />The play on the pump lever is about 2-3mm.... is that enough to cause a loud noise?????<br />Thanks,<br />Skip
