I been asking for a few months now. I have been useing a 50:1 mix and it has been smokeing and fouling out my plugs I think. I also would like to know where I could get a manuel for a 1963 MERC. 500. I looked in stores and online but couldn't find one.

I don't think you posted here, Loueg. You asked once, on April 30. One poster asked for more info. You did not reply.

You need to use a 50:1 mix. 3oz. per gallon, as Roger67 suggests, or 1 pint per 6 gallon tank.

You might find a manual on Ebay, Iboats sells manuals, and Google would put you onto half a dozen more sources.

Your fouling problem could be your plugs or your operation habits, as well as too much oil.

Good luck. :)
