I'm an idiot

i need to find a part, but i don't know what it's called. while i was replaceing the flywheel key, i accidently broke the ring that the points rest on. the one that says "top" on it. now i need to get a new one, can someonw let me know what it's called so i can call around to find it?

It's called a magneto cam in the parts manual, some folks call it a points cam.
It happens. Other folks don't break stuff because they're too pansified to get in there and work on it themselves. You have to keep the sledge off the crank, though!
