Hey everybody!

I just got back from the launch testing my 1958 Johnson 10hp Model QD-19 and it ran GREAT! The engine fired right up and never reverted back to my origional problem of one cyl. quitting. I set the low and high speed screws to ear and ran it up to WOT, no sweat! This should work 'till I get my tach in the mail.

Thanks for all your help with this project! Now it won't take me 15 min to cover 1.5 miles this summer(1968 chrysler 6HP). Even though I have no more problems or questions, I am still going to check posts and reply if my limited knowledge will serve someone well. Hope your summers are filled with fun and fish!

Kevin

Re: I'm Finally Done!

I went in at big muskego launch off of Durham Rd.

Good fishing in the shallows of the reed pockets for 'gills. They have a 8 inch limit there and we can usually catch 10-20 keepeers a trip. There is also good northern and bass fishing there, but bass have an 18 inch minimum so there aren't many keepers. I C&R all my bass anyway. Work the shallows in the spring, then thy bass bay or the deeper spots by the springs in the summer. Let me know if you're arould here and we'll go out. Also try pine lake, good largemouth and smalllmouth on spinners and crankbaits off the weedy dropoffs.

Kevin
