But the internet is rather devoid of US production facilities. The only one I can find is in Malta. Has anyone else taken the SS plunge? If you have any experience would you let me know?? I'm rather excited about it.
I've got a 4.3l GXI-P

Your issue is mating up to the Y pipe. They are water cooled right?

Yea I'm water cooled alright. In salt water as well. I contacted the folks in Malta and what I found interesting is even after shipping they are cheaper than what is sold in Seattle from the Volvo OEM people. It just makes sense. I'll post pictures once I have them installed.

Something to consider . . .

SS and regular steel/iron don't play well together. The Stainless will win the galvanic corrosion battle at the expense of the closest weaker metal, which will probably be the cylinder heads. Do the stainless manifolds have an insert for an anode? If so, that would do the trick.

Wow, this looks like a great option. Better performance, fuel economy (although I doubt the 20% claim) and significantly lighter. Nice looking too. What's the price? I can't see the price since the Buy It button doesn't work.

Also, the picture does show a place for an Anode.
