I'm looking for LARGE flexible flocked rubber window channels.
The problem is size. The the ones that I can find are only 9/16" (.562) wide and the window's aluminum receiving channel is 5/8" (.625) wide X 5/8" deep. The glass is 3/16 thick.
I'm thinking about just gluing (3M black 5200) a vinyl or rubber strip to shim the bottom and another on one side of the rubber channel, but I'd rather make it as it was before. There's a lot of feet of channel involved if I have to do it that way.
The boat is 1979 40' Delta Clipper and all tracks and pile weatherstrips are toast so I've got some work ahead of me.
Any help, leads or ideas appreciated.
