More bite & Holeshhot?

I'd think you're looking for a High-Five $tainless or a 4 blade Aluminum Quicksilver.

Probably something like a 4 blade 18" Turbo would be a good starting point.

Well, you've got to prioritize a bit with prop choices... you almost never get something for nothing.

Ask yourself if you would really be bothered by having a WOT of 47 mph vs 50? What percentage of the time do you get to run that fast?

I just downpropped my boat and gave up speed on the top end... but the boat performed so much better when tubing that I'm a happy camper... towing the kids is what I spend most of the time doing.

A prop for watersports and a prop for general boating are seldom the same. Especially on a sterndrive where we're really stuck with the X dimension.

The 4 blade will certianly give you more holeshot and more blade area for watersports. Because we would go to a smaller pitch you'll get more pulling power but less top end. When pulling a tube or skiier top end isn't usually a concern. More pulling power make life easier on the person being pulled and the motor.

Going from a 19 to an 18 will help but you may want to drop to a 17 for even more pulling power. It just depends on what you're looking for.

If you like shoot me an email (dhadley50@aol.com) and we'll see what we have that you might be interested in trying.

My answer is ports for hole and cup for bite. Having just experienced that (bought one and looked at if first hand), the Hustler, sold herein, has both in an inexpensive aluminum prop for around $100 bucks. Plus it has a replaceable hub so if you ding the prop, you just buy another shell (about $75) and use your old hub. You can't get the prop repaired for that...around here.

Then, if you are not happy, you can spend the $250-$450 for a fancy 4 blade SS.

My 2c.
