model#115793S ser# J0005312<br />changed impeller and water pump housing fished 4 times about half throttle went again the last time ran boat wide open and light brown fluid ran out of foot in the parking lot any ideas of what this is or where it come from ,minor or major and what year.please <br />ps: i know its a 115 evinrude

It's a 1977 model. <br />Was the brown fluid oil? Did you feel of it and smell it? Pull the drain plug on the foot and drain the lower unit into a pan. There shouldn't be any water in it. If there is then you hava a seal leaking.

thanks the parking lot was full. im going back this weekend ill take time to smell and fell this time. i just noticed it and was just interested in getting out of the way <br /><br />ps when i drained the foot the oil i used has a green pigment in it there were only a couple of drops of white in it i;m amsuming that was water thanks.
