Impellar change ?

I have a 1992 30 hp johnson JTEENR need to change one first time doing it so any and every piece if information well be very help full. Motor has spacer to convert into long shaft on it. I undid 4 bolts and ther one on top but motor won't drop. Pulled screen covers off on botton of LU shift rod there with 2 nuts like the are hooked together their do these need to come apart or do they? Diagrams welcome. I almost forgot, when i pulled the bolt on the starboard side front it was soaking wet of fuel?

Those nuts in the screen intake area need to come apart,you then push the top piece upward,that will then allow you to see the plastic keeper that slides into a groove on the shaft,the plastic is slotted and needs to be removed,that will then allow the top nut to slide off the shaft allowing then the gearcase to be slide off.The gas must be from something up in the powerhead area that leaked ,could simply be the fuel from the carb when engine was tilted allowed fuel to flow out the carb,usually the plastic carb cover catches it,but after years of heat ,contraction expansion ,its becomes leaky. You can always go to the BRP website,that is Bombardier ,whom took over OMC,they have a GREAT parts breakdown for every engine back to early 70's
