Impeller drive key needed

Finished up rebuilding my first out drive, went to the second drive and noticed the impeller key is getting worn out. Lots of pits on it and the spline is worn away on both ends, just a bit in the middle is left. I went to order one on here and they are not available. Any idea where I can get one? It is a 1973 MC-1 drive on a 140.

I've never seen one get pitted, they are stainless steel, but any boat shop or marine store will have them. They come in the impeller kits. Most techs have a few stashed in their tool boxes.

Thanks Don, I will just order an impeller kit then. I will eventually need it so it does not hurt to have it laying around.

I was looking around for some other parts and stumbled across the key on this site. They just do not show a link to it in the exploded diagrams. Here it is if anyone else is looking.
