impeller fins ? which way ?

which way do i point the fins of the impeller ? in dirrection of travle ? clockwise ? or opposite ? or does it matter? thanks

As soon as the engine turns over, the blades will flex in the proper position.<br /><br />However, the proper way to install the impeller is to have the housing in your left hand, then with your right hand spin the impeller into it in a counter clockwise direction.

Hello ,,,I just replace my impeller and was instructed by a pro to lightly grease the impeller,rotate the shaft in a clockwise manor while putting pressure on the housing,, it should slide right on,, mine did

The blades of the impeller should trail as you turn the driveshaft clockwise. That's the way I always remember it.
