I just go a pump kit for a 79-80 7.5hp merc.<br /> Every thing seems o.k. except I had to rotate the impeller to get the blades to fit in the pump.<br />should it fit this tight?
yep, sounds like you done good. will automatically<br />turn in the right direction first time u turn it<br />over. always a good idea to replace the fill/empty<br />screw rubbers too.<br />good luck,<br />M.Y.
