Hi Kevin,
You should be able to find one at your local dealer, or if they're one of those dealers who won't help out an older motor, try your NAPA store. OEM #377178, NAPA (Sierra) #18-3008... The part shouldn't run you more than $20.00, and will likely be a fair amount less...
- Scott

Thanks, i called NAPA and they 'll have it for me by Wed. Just a side question about plugs-- what number plugs are recommended for that model?

PS- this site is the best., As I get a little more experience with this stuff I hope I can be half as helpful as you guys are ! :D

Kevin Carstedt,

Not sure what number plug, however, do not let anyone talk you into putting anything in that engine besides Champions.

I would still love to know actual plug no. or suitable CHAMPION replacement! Help with the prop cone would also be great.

Champion J4Cs or J6Cs will work. Run it on the J4Cs at first. If they burn real black bump it up to the J6Cs - assuming the carb is set correctly and it's not running too rich to cause the blackened plugs...
- Scott
