impeller for rough 1976 johnson 135

Looking for an impeller for this rough 76' 135hp johnson. cannot seem to find one everything ends at 1975 for the135hp. are they the same impeller? even on iboats they stop at 1975 but have other parts for the 1976 model? odd

Here is what I come up with: Original impeller used in the 1976 135hp was part number 385528.

385528 is replaced by 389642

389642 is replaced by 777212

777212 is replaced by 802334

Sierra/iboats 18-3043 replaces 389642

No wonder you are confused. So am I.

The factory kit for an impeller with housing is 439140. (1973-1976)

Thanx both of you. I am going to be needing a lot more OEM numbers for this motor, is there a online or hard copy guide to these? I have the original owners manual and repair manual but it seems that the parts i need are not listed in these books.

You can view the factory exploded parts diagrams for your exact model online at: epc.brp.com. You may find that many of the original parts supercede to another number. If you need a part, give the old parts list number to a dealer and they will sell you the correct updated part.
