I was curious, (and cheap), Could I or should I not use a good RTV sealant like Permatex 6B when replaceing my water pump impeller. I've used it on my truck thermostat housing and it held until I got rid of the truck---@six years.
hello<br />be carefull when substituting silicone for gaskets.<br /><br />Some gaskets are used to supply a pre-determined clearance. (used for a spacer)<br /><br />good luck and good holidays!!
