Impeller help

im banging my head trying to use this site to find an impeller.
I have a 1993 or 94 Mercury 40hp 4 cylinder oil injected 2 stroke. I think this should be a no brainer but i'm clueless on finding it here. serial 0G099305

Hey there..

Not a pro here, but not sure that Sierra part is the right one.
I did a quick lookup on your serial number, and found the impeller is in part group 47, P/N:89983, superseded by 89983T.

Did a search here for that, and came up with:

The Sierra and the Quicksilver look a bit different, yet they both reference the same part number it seems.
(Edit: Maybe the smaller looking of the 2 is for a sterndrive? :noidea:
I'd take out the one you have, and compare it to the pics myself... )
Maybe either one of them would work.

In any event, the MFG Part Number is 89983T, so whatever you find that is supposed to be a direct fit for that part number should work.
