impeller housing tubes loose

Hello everyone,
I purchased my impeller kit yesterday and the sales guy told me to be sure and see if the inlet and outlet tubes were tight or not. He said if not they would suck air and overheat the engine. Well, sure enough they are. He said the new housing is one piece in stead of the plastic tubes pressed into the brass housing.

My question is, is it possible to repair the housing with some kind of epoxy or something. I already spent $53 on the impeller and it looks like the housing is $133. Im not trying to cut corners and overheat my engine, but it looks like with a little ingenuity, I could keep $133 in my pocket for fuel or something else. haha.

Any thoughts?

EDIT: Sorry, thought I had a link or two to share but I am having senility issues at the moment.

Sorry about that. I did a search but somehow did not find that thread. I just got back from the dealer with the new solid brass part for $133. Its hard to swallow spending that kind of money for something that seems like epoxy would fix, especially since I have not had any overheating problems, but I should never have another problem with it again.

I know it is hard to compare one timeline to another after a decision like this, but you will be glad you did what you did more and more as time in this decison path moves forward :)
