Changed out the impeller in the lower and still not getting water at the pee hole, figured it was just due to engine not getting hot but owner says it always spits water from hole even on cold starts.
He talked to somebody a the local dealer who told him there is another impeller in the upper section under the motor cover and I've never heard or found anything to verify this, sorry but this is on my brother in law's motor that is 40 mile away, I've been trying to help him with it. I don't know much about the mercs as I'm more an evenrude guy.
