I am installing a new impeller (first time) on my 115 hp ob....I took off the water pump base to inspect the seals and there was no gasket between the waterpump base and the lower unit. The manual and the rebuild kit show the gasket in place and the rebuild kit includes a new gasket that fits right there. My question is should I install the gasket of leave it out.....thanks for your help.....
