Saw a thread like this in the ski forum and I want to see the wakeboarders in action.

This is all I have to offer, I'm new but this was my first time getting up on the board

Here's my vid (finally). This one is from a few months ago. I'm getting better air now and a bit better board control. I also switched boards too. Also remember that I'm quite large (6' 4" and pushing 300 lbs) so for me any air is good air.

We used to call it Skurfing back in the 80s. I never got around to trying it but my cousin ripped on the thing. He had started skateboarding at age 3, surfing around 10 or 11, and was forced to leave Daytona in 1985 when his family returned to CT. That's when he found Skurfing and Snowboarding. If you do a google search on Skurfing there are a bunch of sites with lots of photos. I'd love to get the old VHS footage of my cuz up on youtube for all to enjoy. He broke his collar bone in his early 20s on a snow boarding trip and hasn't been right since. It's unfortunate because he loved all of those sports.

Thanks! My wife really enjoys it. She just got up for the first time late August so she didn't get much time riding. Hopefully next year we'll get some more time on the boards. Our kids were just too young this year for us to get time in the boat.

Hear is a video i put together of me and a group of guys I when out with at the begining of Sep for a local web site. I did most of the video shooting sitting on a tube while guys took their rides, my brother did it while i rode but his camera skills are less then desired, all the shots of me were shakey. We had a phatographer join us to get good stills of every one, he took the color shots, the black and white was pulled from video.

the video is in 720p so make sure to change the setting on the player, if your conection will handle it
