Paul can you explain a bit how you go about an in-line fuel filter. I am new to this game of "Jonny's" Zenith

Re: In line fuel filter per Paul (N S)

I'm not exactly old hat myself. All I did was to cut some of the metal tubing between the tank shut off and the carb, and fit 3/16" ID rubber gas line to both ends with a 3/16 barb fitting gas filter in between. Then a couple of snapper hose clamps to keep it safe. I'm afraid I bought all the parts I needed at local shops, but they shouldn't be hard to find.
You might want to try soaking your filter in carburator cleaner and see if you can't get it clean. I tried that first, but it didn't clear the old filter sufficiently.
Hope this helps!
