Hi everyone. Mrs SW here... Dee if I may. I know it's been a long time. Life has been keeping me pretty busy. Hope this finds everyone doing very well. I have a favor to ask of those who have the time. My nephew, Jason, has entered a contest in Atlanta with the STAR94 radio station. Here is the info from the page itself about the contest:

"The concept is simple: you've got to live in it to win it.

Star94 asked listeners to show why they deserved a chance to be a part of Wheel World. Eight listeners were selected to play the game.

And how do you play Wheel World? Simple: live in the all-new 2008 Mercury Mariner. Stay until you can't take it anymore. The last person left in the vehicle wins it!

There are two Mercury Mariners, each with four Star 94 listeners inside. MyAtlTV.com is providing live video (via webcam) so you can see how the players are getting on. As the game progresses, we'll get confessional videos from the players and you can watch them. "

They have been in there now for 18 days and a few hours. They have gone through a lot and they have lost three people since the beginning. They have reached a point this weekend where they are going to send two people home. The way they are doing this is they are asking for people to go on and vote for their favorite player. The two people who get the LEAST votes over this weekend is going to be sent home at 6AM Monday morning.

I am trying to keep Jason in that truck. He has the stamina to stay, now he just needs the votes to keep him there. So this is my search... if you guys have the time, could you please go onto this site:

http://www.myatltv.com/life/contests/wheelworld/

And vote for Jason as your favorite. He and his family could REALLY use that truck and I would like to help him get it. I have voted already and it's simple. you vote for your favorite and they ask for a valid email address so they can send you a confirmation about your vote. This is only to make things fair so people dont put in bogus email addresses to cheat. When you get your confirmation email, you just click on the link in the email and it verifies your vote.

Anyways, I would like to say Thanks in advance to everyone for their time and you guys keep watching over the weekend to see what happens. It's been a real good time watching what's been going on.

And either way, I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!!

Directly under the word EXPERIENCE, "Who should stay, Who should go, VOTE HERE."

It looks like they made the contest too easy, and now they are looking for ways to eliminate the contestants so they can end the contest.

I think the same thing. They may start having elimination contests instead of the Reward Contests. It's going to be interesting to see how it goes from here on out, but I still would love to see Jason win. His family really needs that truck.

Thanks to everyone!

The email address is just for your vote confirmation. They do it that way to make sure everything is legitimate. Keeps people from going on there and voting a 100 times by the same person. But thanks for the consideration.

I voted... if they don't do IP confirmations I can vote another ohhh 5 or 6 times with valid e-mail addresses :) I can create a couple hundred e-mail accounts to and use a couple hundred proxies to really jack up the vote for him.

I think I'll just stick with the 1 for now unless someone takes a HUGE lead that looks like spam. Good luck!

Re: In Search of...

Hi ya 12Footer. Right now I haven't heard anything about knowing the numbers until Monday morning. I'm just figuring that by the time I get up and check out the webcams Monday AM, I'll know if Jason made it. I think with all you guys helping and our families pitching in that he'll be fine. But either way, he says Thanks to all who are willing to support him and he's having a great time. If he goes home Monday morning, he says he's learned a lot and met a lot of great people. Lessons learned for the future. He just spent his 20th birthday in there too.

But again, Thanks to you all.

Looks like he is in the gray one and only 2 left in it unless the other one's are on break.

Re: In Search of...

Hi SBN. He's in the gray one for the time being. Seems like about every other day they move one or two of them to the other truck. He's alone in his with Jessi... She just makes everyone crazy. I dont think anyone likes her. If you watch real close, no one really talks to her. She apparently uses the pity card to get everyone's attention and from what I understand, after 19 days with her... everyone is real tired of hearing it.

All the others seem to have found ways to have fun together. I guess not everyone is the best thing to be stuck in a truck with for days on end... it's been real fun though watching all this unfold.

i'm excited and anxious about Monday. I want for Jason to win so much! His family really needs that truck...

Re: In Search of...

It appears they have already made up their minds, as they took the vote option off!! The wife just tried to vote, and the vote bar was gone. I think the fix is in. Something is rotten with this "contest", Dee. I hope Jason doesn't get the shaft.... Unless it the DRIVEshaft attached to a truck.
