inboard engine cover soft spots

Hello I have a 1972 320 luhrs sport fisher and the engine carparment doors need to be repaired or replaced any ideas can i build suports under, or what do most people do in this case Thanks Bob

If I remember correctly, I think the cockpit sole on that vintage Luhrs is plywood that was glassed. Just rebuild it following the orginal.
