Inboard Engine Housing Insulation??

I need to replace the insulation for a newly re-built housing for my inboard engine. Does anyone have any suggestions for this? I assume its for heat resistance and sound deadening. The boat is like 20 years old so I don't think going to the MFG would help. There has to be some third party products out there.

Thanks!

Any auto sound insulation products should be fine. Many are also minor heat insulators. Most of these are sold in sheets and easily applied.

I will soon be changing my box out too.
Let me know what you go with and if it makes a difference?

Thank you.
