Just got back from a weeks vacation spent here for my first time. A great lake with fantastic fishing. I mostly targeted smallmouth bass and my 9 year old grandson was able to land his biggest fish to date at 17 inches. A really nice northern smallmouth and it really gave him a great fight.
Highly recommend visiting this lake if anyone is in the area and likes fishing for smallmouth.

Indian Lake is very nice... All around old forge is very nice actually... We stay at Limekiln Lake (about 10 miles from old forge) at least one long weekend every year. There are some nice small-mouth in there too, I have the best luck just at dark while in the kayak... The black flies up there will eat you alive in the beginning of the summer.
