Indian River Bay DE

I was thinking about taking my tub down to Indian River Bay this year, ever year my wife goes down with her parents, and i'm not much for sitting on the beach. I figure it have a much richer experience if i were to have my boat with me.

Curious if anyone has rented a slip at the indian river bay marina? and or has any general insight on the bay, or related boating.

I went once, if you have an outboard you will be fine. However, I have inboard/outboard and I was plowing sand. I went out like 1/2 mile and turned my *** around. It was so shallow I could hardly move without hitting sand. Maybe it was low tide, I dont really remember, but it was not good LOL. Oh, I went in at the Leisure Point campground.
