I am posting for a friend.

the boat is a 2007 Supra SSV22 and they are having some issues to start the engine it's an indmar 320hp 5.7 L. there are no issue when we start it in the morning but if we go for a 30 minutes ride it will not start again. Then if we let it rest for 30-40 minutes it will then start with no issue. So far we have changed the gas filter, spark plugs with no good results

Optional Information:
Make (of engine): Indmar
Model (of engine): 320 HP 5.7L, multiport injection
Year: 2007
Horsepower: 320

Already Tried:
Spark plugs, Gaz Filter

Does anybody know what the problem can be or what he should check.

thanks

He thinks it is flooded. after 30-45 minutes it starts back up again but if he goes for a ride (30 minutes or so) and stops he can't start it again.

Go over to the Supra forum... www.supraboats.com
At the top click on community and then bulletin board underneath.
The guys over there should be able to help.
It sounds to me like it might be vapor lock. A lot of guys with the Moomba's and Supra's around that year had problems with it and a 2nd fuel pump cured the problem....

Thanks, it looks like that is the problem.

He talked to the dealers here and they said its normal and there is nothing they can do.

One dealers said they can add a pump but not until the fall.

Doesn anybody have any ideas if this is an easy fix?

could we do it ourselves.
