Inexpensive flooring options

So i just recently had to tear all the carpet from my boat to get the floor off, but i'm not sure I want to put carpet back in after i reinstall the floor. Are there any other inexpensive flooring options that will look good / hold up well. I was looking at the fake teak foam flooring but it seems super cheap.

the faux teak is essentially closed cell foam. however it is generally used over fiberglass. the quality stuff is almost the same cost as real teak.

what is the issue with carpet?
