I have a 2010 sanger V210 whenever I plug the inflator into the 12 volt receptacle in the rear storage and turn it on it pops the fuse at the battery. ( 5 amp) What to do as it is a pain to use the battery under rear seat when you have people in the boat.

Double post?
You probably need at least a 10 amp circuit for the inflator, there's no way a 5 amp will handle it. For an off-season project, re-wire with a heavier gauge to handle 20-30 amps and put a circuit breaker in line instead of a fuse.

Re: Inflator pops fuse

It currently has a circuit breaker that didnt pop it popped the 5amp fuse at the battery: that controls all accessory buttons, no blower no bilge no music etc... I havent tried the circuit since but plan to check it out again this weekend. I called my local Sanger guy and he said he could check it out when he installs the depth finder. It seems odd to me to have a 12volt acc. plug conveniently located in the storage bin that cannot accom. an inflator for tubeing. Probably a factory oversight. I will rewire the setup if Sanger wont fix. Run straight from the battery a 10-20 amp circuit straight to the acc plug, and utilize existing circuit breaker. :
