I am trying to get information on this boat and the manufacturer. Photos and such. I might go crazy and "restore" this sucker.

I just bought that boat with a 70 horse power envinrude. I really bought it for the motor as i want to replace the Mercury 50 hp Merc 500 that is on my Babcock walk thu trihull. However, after taking the boat home it is starting to get to me. The gelcoat is in supperb condition once you clean all the "oxidation", I mean, new like! The transom is solid, the boat was in the trailer tilted forward (why do people do that!) so the floor is gone but the stringers are solid. I have not gone thru some of the stringers fiberglass to have a better inspection, but the stringers in this boat dont look too bad to replace, so I might replace them reguardless. No foam so far found in this boat!? maybe someone already attemp to restore it in the past.
I did a similar job on that Babcock and I have to admit I did not replace the stringers. In retrospective, I should have. So I might sell my Babcock. Bad thing is this boat is a runabout, which I dont like much. I was thinking in cutting the front of the boat and turn it into something like my Babcock. Or just make it a center console, which I dont like much, but it would probably be easier.
Oh, I paid $325.00 for it.
New info, using the hull id number I found out this is a Cobia boat! Nice...
