info for johnson gt100

I little history/info for this engine that i got with my boat. It is a Johnson GT100, model:<br />J100STLCEM, i know it's a 100hp, power trim/tilt, but what's the deal with the gt, it's got some nice little checker flags on it and it runs great. thanks.

Model number denotes that the engine is a 1989 model.The checkered flags alonng with some suttle differences in cowling is about all that separates it from a non GT model.Enjoy.
