Info need on a Johnson J35ELCTS 1983

Hello again...I have this model Johnson..does it have a over heat alarm on it...for a remote I have a OMC ..not sure what model it is...but it has the flat bar on top to use on starting it..and key in front toward engine....

if it has a over heat alarm...where is the sensor and alarm...I did order a OEM book for it...but not here yet....

Also did the carb ever have a cover over the intake...or is it always open....

it runs great....pisser has a good strong stream....no skips ....

any tips or hints to keep it going good please inform me...

You could try going to http://www.evinrude.com/en-US/Accessories/Literature/ and look at the diagrams. I have a OMC manual but it is for 1982.
