Hello, I have been reading this message board for a few months and first I'd like to thank everyone here for all the helpful information. My best friend bought this boat and we are in the process of rebuilding the outboard. Its a 1987 Evinrude 225. We have taken it apart and took the block to get it bored out, the machinist said it was the cleanest old motor he ever worked on, so hopefully we are off to a good start. E225TLCUB is the number on the plug in the block. Has anyone here ever owned this model outboard? What did you like or dislike about it? Thanks Bob
