Info on screw

Hello all,

does anyone know the diameter, length Andy thread count for the three (3) screws that bolt on the starter recoil assembly for a 1963 Evinrude 10 hp Sportwin. Parts says it was part 0303288 which was replaced by 031902. [h=1]0303288 : Replaced by 0312902[/h]

3/8" headed screw. 1/4 X 20 thread. About 1" long. Very common screw on OMC motors. The 3/8" head will be what gives you problems at a hardware store. I don't think there is room for 7/16" head.

visit your local Johnson/Evinrude dealer and pick them up....common Johny-rude hardware.
