Info on Starcraft boats

I'm trying to get some basic info on my boat. Things like the model, horsepower rating, and performance info.<br /><br />What I have is a 1975 Starcraft 18' closed bow, aluminum stern drive. Capacity plate list 8 people (it does show weight but I don't remember it). It is not a cuddy cabin. Has a 120hp OMC.<br /><br />I'm just wondering if there is a site that has pictures of the old boats to compare to.

I'll second the suggestion to search on eBay. Also, click "completed items" to find past auctions.<br /><br />Also, try www.boats.com, www.iboats.com, www.thesaltydog.com, www.traderonline.com.<br /><br />When folks sell boats on the internet, they usually provide lots of detail and pictures.

Thanks.<br /><br />Lark, for people trying to sell boats, they sure do put up crappy pictures. Found one (orange) that looks like mine but didn't list the model.<br /><br />I'm thinking it's a Holiday as well. The info I was wondering was the typical HP. Seems at 120, I'm wuite a bit less then what they could be powered with.<br /><br />Thanks for the replies.

TW,<br /><br />If it is a 1975 closed bow aluminum, it is a Holiday. Open bowriders were Super Sports. I had a 76 SS at one time. Nice boat.<br /><br />The Holidays and SS's used the same hull, along with the small Cheiftain (cuddy).

TW there should be a small ID plate 1/2"wide, maybe 2" long on the top,right hand, aft corner of the transom....If it's there, post the numbers and I can tell you what it is.....

Didn't know the plate was back there. It's been painted over but I think it says<br /><br />STR1915DM75F-F<br /><br />Thanks for any help on this.
